We add amounts of money like whole numbers. Remember: 1 quarter = 25¢, 1 dime = 10¢, 1 nickel = 5¢, 1 penny = 1¢.

Example: 2 quarters + 3 dimes = 50¢ + 30¢ = 80¢. Give your answer in cents (e.g. 80).
