Finding 10% is easy: just move the decimal point one place left!

Understand Percent before you start

Percent means "per hundred." So 20% of a number is 20/100 of it, or 0.20 times the number.

To find 20% of 50: 20/100 × 50 = 10. So 20% of 50 is 10. For 10%, you can move the decimal one place left.
