Understand Rounding before you start

Read this if you're new to the topic—it will help you know what to do in each problem.

Rounding means replacing a number with a simpler nearby number. We round to the nearest 10, 100, or 1000.

Look at the digit to the right of the place you're rounding to. If it's 5 or more, round up; if it's 4 or less, round down. Example: 47 to the nearest 10 is 50.

Examples
47 to nearest 10 → 50
134 to nearest 100 → 100
